The Health Science major provides an multidisciplinary approach leading to the Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. The core curriculum stresses interdisciplinary educational values consisting of teamwork, conflict resolution and effective use of informatics. All program core courses involve group work with case-based, problem-based pedagogy and simulation. The foundational outcome of the Health Sciences Program is preparation for pursuit of several career alternatives and graduate study related to healthcare. Each student works closely with an advisor to develop an optimal curriculum map to prepare themselves for the chosen career.
