Students requesting internal transfer into the Health Sciences major must apply by May 1st for the following fall admission; and must complete the following:

Attend an information session held early spring (March)
Earn a 3.0 GPA in PSYC 0101 , MOVP 0100 , BIOL 0129 and BIOL 0237
Submit a personal statement/narrative.

Requirements of the Health Sciences Major - 58 credits

Students must earn at least a 3.00 GPA in all major core courses and electives required of the Health Sciences program to graduate.

Required Major Core courses - 31 credits

A minimum grade of “B” is required of all major core courses.

Additional Graduation Requirements

All students must meet the University Graduation Requirements and complete a common core of studies, distributed among the different academic areas as detailed in the Common Core .
