Applied group study for the development of piano proficiency skills including healthful technique, finger dexterity, and fluency of approach to the keyboard. Topics include structured playing by ear, reading lead-sheets and the grand staff, improvising, common-tone voicing of triads and seventh chords, and the development of repertoire.

Prerequisites: MUSC 0111 or permission of the instructor
